Quick sensor changes and fast commissioning
IO-Link sensors
IO-Link enables fast, error-free sensor replacement and prompt commissioning. Since the parameters of a replaced IO-Link sensor are automatically written to the new sensor by the IO-Link master or the controller, you are able to significantly reduce downtimes. In addition, commissioning processes, format changes or recipe changes can be handled centrally via the controller's function blocks. This saves time and minimizes opportunities for errors. Another advantage for you is that IO-Link devices cannot be mixed up, as they can be identified automatically via IO-Link.
