Ensuring quality in cell assembly with code reading
BVS IdentSensors for end-to-end quality assurance and optimized process monitoring
In cell assembly, the seamless identification and verification of components plays a central role in quality assurance. The Balluff BVS IdentSensor supports this process by reliably detecting housings with barcodes, matrix codes or 2D codes. This helps to minimize errors and increase process reliability.
The sensor can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems using IO-Link as a process and data interface. Depending on requirements, TCP or UDP connections can also be used. As part of the Balluff Smart Automation and Monitoring System (SAMS), the BVS enables intelligent process monitoring.
In addition, modern IIoT data protocols such as MQTT and the REST API are available, which enable flexible and up-to-date data transmission to higher-level systems. This allows sensor parameters and status data to be monitored and analyzed in real time, which contributes to the optimization of operating processes.
