BOD 6K laser distance sensor with Time-of-Flight technology
Large ranges and IO-Link in a small housing
The BOD 6K photoelectric laser distance sensor ensures the detection and positioning of a wide variety of objects. For example, it is suitable for contour detection, distance determination or position control in the assembly and handling industry. Thanks to the precise laser beam, you can also use it reliably for small objects and object details. Its laser class 1 does not require any additional protective measures.
The sensor offers you a large range of up to 1500 mm in an extremely compact housing. You can reliably prevent interference thanks to its averaging function. Both the characteristic curve and the switching point can be taught in using the integrated button. Alternatively, all settings can be made even more conveniently via IO-Link.
Time-of-flight sensor for precise distance measurement
Equipped with time-of-flight technology (TOF), the laser distance sensor is able to detect objects safely and reliably even at large distances despite its small housing. The time-of-flight method also works absolutely reliably at greater distances, which means that the sensor can be used for distances of up to 1.5 m. Object positions are reliably detected and transmitted within this range.
Two integrated housing holes and a dovetail facilitate alignment and mounting. You can connect it using a simple, standardized 4-pin M8 connector.
Part of the extensive BOS 6K sensor family in a new generation
The BOS 6K optoelectronic sensor family consists of cubic midi sensors that cover all relevant detection principles and use different light sources for this purpose. The latest generation impresses with proven, but also completely new functional principles and technologies. Common to all sensors in the family is their housing shape, operating concept and IO-Link. This considerably simplifies the parameterization and integration of the sensors and improves their usability.
