Inspecting injection vials

The production of medical vials is subject to strict quality assurance measures. In order to detect defects such as impurities, blowholes, scratches, sink marks, and flow seams, camera systems are used to inspect the vials, often from different directions. Powerful software modules then interpret all camera images simultaneously. From the point of view of cost efficiency, this ensures that the cycle time of production is not changed, but that product quality is guaranteed 100 % and in real time.
