Level detection sensors for non-conductive media or object detection
With the addition of IO-Link, these square-nosed Q40 capacitive sensors deliver more than dependable object and fill-level media detection. They also provide extended diagnostic information which can alert to faulty devices or processes, allowing users to identify problems early and initiate preventative maintenance before equipment fails. Additionally, IO-Link allows users to load settings remotely so parameters can be adjusted easily during operation and settings can be automatically transferred to replacement sensors.
Like all the components in Balluff’s capacitive sensor portfolio, these are a dependable choice for object and fill level detection. They can detect non-conductive materials without contact through plastic and glass containers up to 6 mm thick. And their sensitivity can be easily adjusted via a teach-in wire or IO-Link.
